Personal Interests

One of my other favorite hobbies is Scuba diving. I have been a certified diver since 1989, and I hold Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications from both PADI and NASE. My favorite place to dive is the Carribean, and I like to return there for diving vacations as often as possible. I also maintain a website dedicated to Scuba diving here in my home state of Maine. You can find it here: http://www.maine-scuba.com

My 2006 Kawasaki Nomad When I am not working hard, I like to play hard. One of my very favorite things to do is to ride my motorcycle. I have a 2006 Kawasaki Nomad that I call Stryker, and have ridden from Maine to Memphis, Sturgis, and Deal's Gap, North Carolina - as well as numerous trips in and around New England. In the summer of 2011 I rode from Maine to Colorado. Since then I have been to Wisconsin and back, and have ridden all the way across the country from Maine to Oregon and back.

I am also very involved in Yoga. My wife Ginger is a certified Yoga instructor, and we spend a good deal of our time engaged in the practice and philosophy of Yoga. I also maintian the webpage for Ginger's Yoga Studio, and you can find it here: http://birchwoodyoga.org. I find yoga to be good for my body, my mind and my soul. It is a terrific stress reliever.

Living in Maine, I grew up hiking the thousands of miles of excellent hiking trails we have. Maine is extremely mountainous, and anyone who loves the outdoors can find no end to new and exciting trails to hike.
