My mother was the writer in the family. A nationally syndicated columnist and author of several books, I grew up the to the rhythmic thump-tap-thump-tap-tap-tap of her ancient Royal typewriter. Me, I went into I.T. and spent a long career working in State government. I did a little writing here and there over the years, but never considered actually being published.
Then I retired, and have remembered that I actually enjoy writing. Also, I feel like I have a few stories to tell.
And so here I am. I am not sure if this will ever result in me publishing anything really, but I do feel like I have this book inside me just bursting to get out.
Along the way there will likely be small bursts of other writings and whatnot as well. I mean, what else am I doing?
